Do your research well

  It is important for any student to have a purpose for their essay. The statement of the thesis should also be clearly indicated in the essay. A thesis is usually one statement that gives what you are talking about.  

 

The title should be well thought out

  When it comes to choosing a name, you need to do a lot of research to get something really good. The title should focus on what the essay is about, you need to find a very catchy title. You can go online and find the titles that have been given for the topic you are writing about.  

 

Record citations

  As you research the essay, you may find similar information in several chapters of the textbook, but in different contexts. You need to write down these references and use the most appropriate quotation for your academic essay.   Write down the full title of each text used, the page number and link to the line where the quotes are located. To refer to a string, use a decimal number to indicate how far down the page the quote was found.   For example: p33.25 means the text starts about a quarter (25%) down on page 33. You can remove a few clauses from the template that you disagree with and add new clauses for development. 

  

Draft essay

  Once your personalized plan is ready, you are ready to write a draft. This is an easy task because all the preparatory work has been completed. It’s just a matter of combining ideas and filling out an essay outline with a few details. Later, you might want to change some of the ideas to make the essay a logical transition from one point to the next.   This may be a new idea for some students, but a draft essay is best written in one sitting.
